Shiri Maimon

Shiri Maimon (Hebrew: שירי מימון‎; born 17 May, 1981) is an Israeli pop singer, TV show host and actress, who rose to fame after finishing as the runner-up in the first series of Kokhav Nolad, the Israeli version of the Idol series. After this she released her first single, Ad She’tavin Oti.

She participated in Kdam, the Israeli national final and won, going on to represent Israel in the Eurovision Song Contest 2005 in Kyiv, Ukraine, finishing in 4th place with the song Hasheket Shenish’ar. She went on to win an MTV Europe Award for Best Israeli Act and competed in Liverpool for the “Europe’s Favourite Act”, finishing in 3rd place. Shiri is currently a judge on The X Factor Israel.
