Željko Joksimović

Željko Joksimović (Serbian: Жељко Јоксимовић; born in Belgrade, 20 April, 1972) is a Serbian singer, composer and producer. After a string of hits in the late 90s, Željko took part in the first edition of Evropesma, the Serbian-Montenegrin selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2004 with Lane moje. He went on to win and at Eurovision, Željko finished 2nd, behind Ukraine.

In 2006 Željko wrote Lejla for Bosnian group Hari Mata Hari, which came 3rd in Eurovision 2006. In 2008 he both co-hosted the contest in Belgrade with Jovana Janković, as well as wrote the Serbian entry, Oro performed by Jelena Tomašević. In 2012, Željko returned to Eurovision as a singer, representing Serbia in Baku with the song Nije ljubav stvar. He qualified from the second semi-final and placed 3rd in the final, behind Sweden and Russia. In 2015 he set his sights on Montenegro, composing the song Adio.
