The winning song was later found to have been commercially released in Finland in 1997, and was subsequently disqualified. The second-placed song was then declared the winner and represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at Eurovision. The runners-up, Dino & Béatrice, were subsequently chosen to represent Bosnia & Herzegovina at Eurovision with Putnici.
