After the heats 3 of the losing songs were awarded wildcards into the semi-finals. Julija Jegorova was disqualified from the first heat after it was revealed her song had previously been performed by Onita Boone earlier in 2012. If there was a tie for the last qualification spot, the votes of the expert jury took precedence.
